When Andrea Caccuro, a NYC fashion executive, and her business partner Nelson Diaz, a Miami/New York artist, decided to embark on restoring an Italian Renaissance house in 2010, little did they know what the outcome was going to be. A brickyard owner built the home in the 1850s in Haverstraw, NY, a quaint, historic village 35 miles north of NYC.
Today, their newly restored villa, Casa Hudson, is a modern interpretation of the bed and breakfast. Each of the three rooms has a combination lock, private bath, free wifi, no TV and original artwork. In addition to renting out individual rooms, the entire villa can be rented for retreats, getaways, or special events. Casa Hudson also hosts some on the most interesting events in the Hudson Valley, from "Chef's Table" to "Italian Style Tomato Canning Classes”. Casa Hudson is your getaway from the mundane, and the Lower Hudson Valley’s newest, Hudson River front bed and breakfast. We invite you to witness our labor of love, book a room and enjoy the sunrise or sunset from our porch.
In 2015 Andrea and Nelson won the coveted Rockland Historical Society Preservation Merit Award for Adaptive Use for their restoration of their villa.

THE NEIGHBORHOOD
The villa is located in the village of Haverstraw which is nestled between High Tor Mountain and the Hudson River. It is a friendly walkable village that has a variety of restaurants.
